Soarway Diver Seal Monobloc

The Seal Monobloc is the first all-new rendition of the iconic diver's watch designed by James Gandolfini.

The Seal Monobloc's name is a nod to the ubiquitous white resin lawn chair, which the large-framed James Gandolfini has been known to obliterate - not in anger or frustration, but just by merely sitting in one! "Seal" because when its famous and corpulent creator swam along the New Jersey Shore, he would strike an uncanny resemblance to the marine mammal. 

Thankfully, unlike the lawn chair, the Seal Monobloc is virtually indestructible, and it can hold its own in the water. That's because the Seal Monobloc is a real tool watch and shares most of its components with its costlier (and much heavier) stainless steel and titanium cousins.

Its 43mm diameter case measures 16.5mm in height, and features an extra-thick, domed sapphire crystal, threaded crown, and threaded caseback, allowing a depth rating of 100 meters. An automatic-winding Swiss movement (ETA-2824) powers this hefty diver's watch. For optimal legibility in darkness, Swiss SuperLuminova luminous compound is applied generously to the hands and to the dial's hour markers.

The Seal Monobloc's strap is secured to the case with a pair of screw-locked lug bars. A screw-locked stainless steel buckle prevents the Seal from inadvertently coming off your wrist.

The Seal is the most iconic Kobold watch. Designed by James Gandolfini, the late actor and Kobold brand ambassador, the original Seal has been in production since 2004. Often imitated but never successfully copied, the legendary Seal has a striking look thanks to its oversized rotating bezel and small face.

Of course, you'll be asked by awe-struck strangers to take it off your wrist for a closer inspection. That's when the Seal's many intricate design queues, such a the beveled edges on its lugs and its heft will impress even the most avid watch aficionados. There's nothing quite like the Seal.

The Soarway Diver Seal Monobloc arrives on an original Kobold diver's strap with signed fittings and signed, screw-locked buckle.

The watch is covered by a 2-year warranty against material defects and inferior workmanship.
