The Soarway Diver is Kobold's latest iteration of the ultimate tool-watch. It is built in the United States and we wore out several pencil sharpeners to make our entry level watch as affordable as possible while packing in as many features as we could.
The all-new Soarway Diver celebrates Kobold's U.S. heritage. As our latest American watch it replaces the Soarway Diver Seal. Its tried-and-tested Soarway case is packed with features. It is rated to a water-resistance of 500 meters. The case houses a finely decorated ETA-2892 automatic-winding movement, complete with a gold-plated, engraved and skeletonized winding rotor. As Kobold's entry level watch, the Soarway Diver is priced extremely competitively. Canvas band. 1-year warranty. Built in USA using domestic and imported components.
316L stainless steel, US made case; domed and extra-thick sapphire crystal; water-resistant to 500 m. / 1,640 ft. Screw-locked lug bars fitting a 22mm band. Screw-locked and signed crown. Threaded caseback. 43.5mm diameter, 15mm height, 22mm lug width, 52.5mm lug end to lug end.
The Soarway Diver replaces Kobold's iconic Soarway Diver Seal, which was designed by the late actor James Gandolfini and retired after his passing. This latest iteration of the Soarway Diver was created with the help of a group of U.S. Navy SEALs who also helped test its reliability under water. Ranulph Fiennes also helped in the design of the Soarway Diver. Ran and his team took ten prototypes on their 2013 Antarctic Winter Traverse in order to test the Soarway Diver's versatility in extremely cold environments.
