Happy New Year and welcome to the new official Kobold website!

While much has changed since our first site was launched twelve years ago, one thing has remained the same: koboldwatch.com is simple to navigate and provides a wealth of information about our products. Kobold watches themselves have evolved over the years, from the perspectives of design, craftsmanship, and functionality. Often imitated but never successfully copied, Kobold watches are manufactured using the most durable materials and finest craftsmanship. While the first chronographs bearing the Kobold brand name were once produced and assembled in Switzerland, many of today's models contain at least some U.S.-made components and most models are now assembled in our modern facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Traditionally, a Kobold watch is chosen for its accuracy, subtle lines and superior quality. Increasingly, however, our customers are seeking an American alternative to Swiss and German watches. Which is why we continue to refine our American timepieces by investing heavily in our U.S. production. As the company's founder, I personally design every Kobold watch and ensure that each and every one meets my personal expectations of quality. As always, I guarantee that no more than a sum total of 2,500 Kobold watches will ever be made in a given year, a practice my competitors would dismiss as uneconomical. I now invite our returning friends and supporters to discover the many changes and additions to this latest edition of koboldwatch.com, and wish all new visitors much fun in discovering the adventurous world of Kobold!
