Warranty

Kobold strives to manufacture timepieces of superior quality, made by watchmakers that are among the best in their field. This is reflected in the accuracy of the watches, the attention to detail in the assembly of the individual cases and movements, and in the life expectancy of a Kobold watch. Whereas many wristwatches fail the test of time, Kobold watches are designed to withstand the most demanding and punishing conditions over a period of many decades. Every care is taken to ensure that your watch meets these high standards before it leaves the factory.

Beginning with the 2010 model year, every Kobold watch assembled in the U.S. and featuring U.S.-made components will be covered by a 5-year limited warranty. The Spirit of America Automatic, however, has a 10-year limited warranty to underscore that model's status as the flagship watch of the Kobold line. Swiss-made Kobold watches will be covered by a 3-year limited warranty.

The warranty covers material defects and faults in craftsmanship. The warranty does not cover defects caused by outside force or improper use, nor does it cover regular wear-and-tear from normal use. Outside modifications and third party repair attempts of any kind will void the warranty. All Kobold limited warranties are fully transferable.

Kindly include a detailed description of the problem and your contact details so that we may follow up with you once the watch arrives. Please note that Kobold is not responsible for the cost of shipping the watch to the service center.
