For American adventurer Wave Vidmar, pulling a 350lb. pulk behind him in the blistering temperatures of the Arctic is apparently too easy. In March 2004, he attempted to walk, ski, and swim nearly 600 miles in order to reach the geographic North Pole from Russia. After reaching the North Pole, his expedition came to a halt due to unforeseen complications. Wave would have been the first American to have ventured on a successful North Pole solo expedition.

Wave requested that we supply him with a titanium version of our Polar Surveyor Chronograph. His watch serves as his primary navigation tool - with GPS as a backup.
